METAS can provide a verification truck with a total weight of 40 tonnes, loaded with calibrated rollable or stackable weights of 500 kg each, for use in Switzerland and neighbouring countries. The verification truck is available for hire to scale manufacturers or other users for testing purposes. The actual verification truck service is provided by an external service provider but coordinated by METAS.
The five-axle verification truck has a crane at the rear that facilitates quick loading and unloading, so that the user will not require any aids. The 40-tonne verification truck can lift the last axle for small footprints.
