The Legislation Projects and Methodology Division at the Federal Office of Justice is involved in the drafting of constitutional and administrative law and supports the federal agencies by developing methodological principles pertaining to the preparation of decrees and implementing these principles by way of counseling and training. Its goals are to improve lawmaking quality and ensuring the coherence of federal law and adherence to legal principles. In addition, the Division is also involved with legal evaluation. The Legislation Projects and Methodology Division is the author of Legislative Guidelines, a project management tool for legislation projects.
